Blaine continues to improve and impress us. He says the funniest things right now. They make sense to him, but to us they seem completely random. He told Aaron to follow his brother Clint. Aaron asked where he should follow him to and Blaine responded to Clint’s car and that they were leaving…
I was able to snuggle up and take a nap with him this morning…he usually doesn’t like to be touched, but this morning was different. I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful it feels to get a response from the man I love. He still has a long way to go, but having him capable of being part of the process is such an awesome development.
Today was such an awesome day with you, my love. I look forward to many more snuggly naps! I love you.

Hi Teresa,
My name is Angela Sweet and I am Katie Pope’s upstairs neighbor. I guess Blaine is one of her friends’ brother.
I read through all of the posts and just wanted to offer my support. I had a severe DAI TBI last August and am more than happy to talk with you and/or any of your family members. My husband, who was in a similar situation to you, is also more than happy to talk and he send his heart out to you especially.
I, too, went to a nursing home betwen my first hospital stay and coming home. And it was really good for me. It is where the fog finally started lifting for me. Keep your chin up. Blaine is still on his way back. No doctor can ever tell you how far he is going to come or when he is going to make his next step.
Please feel free to write to me. I’m here to support you in any way I can. And I certainly be praying for you and Blaine and the kids.
